Who is Bob Difley?
Formerly general manager of Northern California for a national motorhome rental and sales company, I now write, photograph, hike, kayak, run, mountain bike, snowbird, and boondock.
My travel, destination, and nature articles and photos have appeared in MotorHome, Trailer Life, Good Sam’s Highways, Woodall’s, Western RV News, and RV Journal magazines as well as general interest publications. I was an instructor and seminar leader at the Life On Wheels RV Conferences for ten years (until it closed in 2009), at AGI’s The Rally, and was an interpretive program presenter for Arizona State Parks and Lake Havasu City Public Library.
I currently also blog on the RV.net Web site and for the RV Boondocking News blog of RVtravel.com.
I just stumbled on this website, and I’ll be looking at it a lot more. Your description of your activities matches mine exactly. Thanks for putting this together.
Thanks Joy. Be sure also to look at my main Web site, http://www.HealthyRVLifestyle.com. Your comments are always welcome.
Hi Bob,
Great site (sites)! I am new to the boondocking lifestyle and love it. I have considered putting together an ebook of my experiences and lessons learned, but it appears you have it all done already.
I may still look for an alternate angle, but think your book is an excellent resource. Do you have any affiliate options available should I create links to you?
Best regards,
Jeremiah
Hi Jeremiah – Don’t be put off because you think someone has already done your idea, i.e. an ebook on your experiences. Everyone’s experiences and stories are different. Go ahead and write it and see what happens.
As for affiliate products, I don’t have any but you can link to my site just the same.

Hi Bob,
There was an article in the local Flagstaff paper today about full-time RVers being fined $275 by the Forest Service for being “residents”. It’s pretty scary. See http://m.azdailysun.com/news/local/
Where and when is your class offered?
Hi Garland. Unfortunately, I am not presently offering the class–or any classes. I am blogging on other blogs but not teaching any classes. Maybe again after the economy picks up. If you care to read my other blogs go to: blog.rv.net and search Bob Difley. Also go to http://www.rvboondockingnews.com. Thanks for your interest. Bob
